What's on the menu in April?

The pizza from last week's menu turned out great. We went with the pre-manufactured crust, which left time to make banana bread. Ever had banana bread pizza? The sauce was fresh and tasty & extra garlic and fresh tomatoes on the pizza made it quite a success. I ask you, though, how fresh can a tomato be if it is not fully ripe?

With Irene in Hartford for a conference, Joe and I hammered out another menu for the coming week: April 7th through the 12th, then we went for haircuts, then shopping. It may seem that she doesn't participate in the meal planning, and I don't want you to get that impression, even though a quick perusal of the last four weeks will reveal...two executives hard at work. On the way back from the market, the two execs stopped at the "Fat Boy" drive-in. I tell you ... a well-named trough if there ever was one.
