Could be Money! . . . . . dec 29 2002 — amwalk1229.dat

I had just read a review of Jason Goodwin's book "Greenback: A history of paper money in America" when we went on our morning walk. Actually it was the second morning walk. On the first walk, even though I knew there would be choice photos for my new SuperWet collection, I didn't take my camera.

The idea behind SuperWet is similar to SuperFlat. Objects, scenes, or people must be drenched or dripping rather than flattened. But of course, why not both? Either way, I have a good start on both projects. But back to the brilliant idea.

If people are spending paper money, which they have agreed is worth something, consider the value of the paper cup. It cost about a buck to begin with, right? Pick those puppies up, sheath them in an attractive carrier, and SHAZAM: McBucks!

You never see a greenback lying on the ground, right? There's a certain ongoing asymmetry here which might be viewed as an opportunity for change.
