Socal Iraq . . . . . oct 14 2003 — amwalk81.dat

The full extent of the small spider population can probably never be known directly. No spider census, after all. But in the early morning dew, some of their webs become visible on top of hedges in our neighborhood. There are scads of little webs, ergo, loads of spiders. If just one hedge has 50 webs showing, what does that mean for the number of spiders? Is there space available for more?

There IS space available for more people in the neighborhood, with 2-bedroom townhouse apartments going for 1695. Also a good quantity of one-bedrooms, and even a three bedroom house for rent.

At these prices, maybe the relocation of some Iraqis to southern California could be considered. With a successful immigrant governor-elect here in California, how could we be against it? There are several different mosques in the area to choose from, and a food-shopping support infrastructure of culturally appropriate stores. Let's bring some Iraqis to California to learn from our vibrant milieu of informed democracy.

It's got to cost a lot less than buying more weapons systems.
