Walking with Joe. Crumpet wouldn’t cross the street. But a health cop gave a ticket. A woman on the street corner was useless, saying, “we only serve coffee to police on duty”.

Out in the countryside, on a very steep hill, going to look at a winery -- activity in the grape fields. Irene was in the car, saying how wonderful to live here.

Power ratings

I was looking in a window display where foods were rated. A guy in the stroe gane an “11” rating to a sub sandwich thingy sold there. A baguette-bread sandwich got a “4”. It was deconstructed with pieces strewn on a vertical display. It looked pretty scraggley. At the bottom, with a “1” was the simple hard dinner roll, also shown. A small group of people on th street in front of the window was appreciative
