Take my Wife, Please!
by Henny Youngman.

I won't say this is the worst book of jokes I've ever read. Instead, I'll write it. That's right, this is the level of humor for about half of this book. And the other half is much worse. Or at least so he would have you believe. There was one pretty good one, though, about a Lufthansa flight that landed in the ocean about 10 miles off the German coast.

The pilot says, "All the people who can swim, get onto the left wing. All the people who can't swim, get onto the right wing."

"Those of you on the left wing, " he continues, "We're about 10 miles off the German coast, so if you start swimming you can probably make it."

"Those of you on the right wing, thank you for flying Lufthansa."

Seriously, though folks, it's not all infidelity funnies and drinking jokes. No! There are some bar bets and tricks included to help you strike up a conversation in a bar with a beautiful woman, or at least to win the next round of drinks from your bored drinking buddies. This is a book of adult humor for New Yorkers of the last century.

If you're feeling like a lounge lizard, though slither your way over to www.amazon.com and order this treasury of Henny Youngman's finest It's actually four previously published volumes combined into one book, and some of the illustrations are quite suggestive. You might like it!
